What a joke.

This overtime is right up there with that Kings-LA travesty a couple years back.

They are pretty bad, but what the hell is Carter doing

Refs are fine. They are making the correct calls.

Pray Bavetta doesn't ref any games we need to win.

Bavetta is pulling an all-time classic.

I dunno they were seriously calling some doo-doo calls on Miami.

One sided officiating or not...

Kidd and Carter are redefining choke. Kidd's trip doub is misleading...he's choking bigtime.

Shaq makes FTs, Eddie Jones misses them?

:wtf

It looks like Knick Bavetta has flown south for the playoffs.

Duff McCartney

Man Eddie Jones is choking it up. Carter is trying to win this game by himself. Idiot.

Goodness gracious. Carter finally comes up with the big play to send it to Double-OT.

One of the craziest rolls I've ever seen.

I 've seen last 5 minutes and the overtime don't care for either team but the refs really SUCK

Crap...this stupid game it's gonna be halftime in the Hou Dal game before this freaking game is over...

I rather watch the Dal Hou game then watch NJ prolonging their eventual death.

By the way...It really hurts that the Nets drafted Nenad Kirstic right before the Spurs were about to take him...this guy is a good player.

I feel bad for all those Houston Dallas fans that want to see their team play.

Dex

This is interesting and all, but I still just want to see the Rockets / Mavericks game.

If I'm going to miss the first half of the second game, New Jersey better come up with this win.

ShoogarBear

Damn, Kidd just ass-raped Damon Jones.

Aggie Hoopsfan
04-28-2005, 09:11 PM
You know what sucks? No one up at TNT running the show tonight has the brains to think "hmm, split screens would be a good idea."

Aggie Hoopsfan
04-28-2005, 09:14 PM
LOL, Shaq throws a shoulder block on Richard Jefferson, and Bevetta says Shaq's straight up with his hands (after Collins got called for Ding up SHaq the same way not 2 minutes ago). :lmao

Dex

As I said in the NBA Forum, these are extra minutes that are going to take their toll on an already aching Shaq. New Jersey needs to stretch this series and do the rest of the East, if not the whole NBA, a favor.

whottt
04-28-2005, 09:15 PM
Yeah...Maybe if Jefferson had swung his elbows and hit Shaq in the face multiple times Bavetta would have called the foul on Shaq...it worked for Shaq against Collins.

This game should be exhibit A for all the dipshits on this site who have ever pined for Kidd or Carter.

You give them a wide open jumper in the second OT with a chance to make an impact on winning the game, and they brick.

:lol Air Gay just missed a layup. Yeah, that's the same guy who Larry Brown went with over Lebron in the Olympics.

RJ just massively choked.

Refs are fine. They are making the correct calls. oh yeah? don't think so....:rolleyes.

Kidd could have won this game in the 1st OT if not for that sucessive FTs by ShaQ. Too late!

whottt
04-28-2005, 09:25 PM
Kidd also could have won the game if he hadn't missed about 15 wide open threes.

The Nets would have better luck getting Hedo or Smitty to take those shots.

Aggie Hoopsfan

Refs are fine. They are making the correct calls.

Yeah, I've never seen a better call than whistling Jared Collins' face for fouling Shaq's elbows twice on the same play.

Got any more brilliant observations?

..It really hurts that the Nets drafted Nenad Kirstic right before the Spurs were about to take him...this guy is a good player...and this guy thought he'd be playing for the Spurs...:cry

this is over...Miami will get the W

I hope Vince Carter gets 1 more rebound to get the triple double...

I think that would that be the first time two guys on the same team have had triple doubles in a loss...

Aggie Hoopsfan
04-28-2005, 09:31 PM
:lol New Jersey can't even intentionally foul with three seconds to go when they're down 3 points.

Vince Carter, RJeff, Jason Kidd = chokers.

Seriously, did they think they won with that last shot or what?

I didn't see the game but, that looks like he was totally out of control. Then a certain poster here complains about Manu being a hot dog...

I'm telling you, the Heat are officially the new Lakers of the NBA. they will get hyped and hyped and hyped over and over againt. They are getting extremely favored, and its ridiculous. The sad part is, if the refs favored their opponent, they would wither away. Kind of like what we saw in last years Finals with the Lakers vs. Detroit. LA didn't get favored, and what a surprise, they lost.
