It's not even the block. It's the way Lebron turns on the jets when he hits half court. It's like the damn bionic man or something and the way he shifted into another gear looked so effortless :lol

If any other player made that block it would lead Sportscenter because they haven't done it before. Lebron's had a dozen of those this season.

How do players not understand yet that this shit happens when you play cleveland? Does anybody read scouting reports?

:lol I thought the same thing. "No layups on fast breaks against Cleveland" should have been at the top of that report.

+1

How many defenders catch up with a player miles ahead of him on a fast break to block his layup at full speed?

Didn't Tayshaun Prince do it to Reggie Miller years ago? We still see that one on TV every so often, though usually to embarrass Miller.

That wasn't even close to goaltending. That ball gets swatted as soon as it leaves Mayo's hands and it wasn't over the rim.

Again, not goaltending in any universe. Four slow motion angles proves it conclusively.

Sons, everytime an opponent of Cle has a fastbreak, I just wait for Lebron to come out nowhere, running full speed like a bull to swat that shit hahaha I guess some teams will never learn...He's had like 50 of those this season alone

Its a good block but there's nothing amazing about it. I've seen that play many times and have seen it made by mediocre, but athletic players. There's a very easy way to prevent this type of block. You dunk the ball instead of laying it in. You would think players would be smart enough to figure that out.

Yeah Reggie was on the fast break and put up a weak ass layup and Tayshaun came out of nowhere to send it into the stands.

LeBron might not be the best player to ever play in the league or not even the best player in the league right now, but I think its pretty obvious that he is the closest thing to the perfect athlete to ever play professional sports. Please tell me a flaw in him athletically. Please, because I can't find one.

Watch the J-Rich one. Look how fast he gets back. Its scary. Scarier than the O.J Mayo one.

Didnt he do it to a Magic player then in the playoffs he tried to do it but the Magic started dunkin on breaks?

Kindly link us to those "easy", unamazing blocks like this that Kobe's had, Mr. Laker Fan.

Fortunately for you, Laker fan, LeBron has never, ever, in the history of his life, blocked someone while facing him. Now rest secure in the knowledge that you have the greatest athlete of all time on your team.

Speaking of blocking guys face to face how many small forwards would have the nerve to challenge Shaq at the rim? Pip got the foul (which was a bullshit call because it was a clean block) but that takes guts.

youre right! when he gets beat off the dribble, which is like every other possession, he hollers "HELP-STRONG SIDE" and sips a gatorade with jay z on the sidelines untill its time for him to get the ball again.

Lebron was able to make that play because Mayo came from a sideline angle to the basket while Lebron was running straight down the court. A lot more players could do that than you think. The NBA is full of athletes. Jordan Farmar made a very similar rundown block this season. Look how far behind the play Farmar is before he catches Alston:

Cydwsa8SbkI

This block by Shannon Brown makes Lebron's block look like child's play. When have you ever seen someone go up this high, block the shot and control the ball cleanly? That's just sick. Bad call on the foul too.:
