I have had a couple audits & have found the IRS to be great… (If that is possible)….I always am polite & explain that I am just a blue collar guy who does understand these complex tax matters…They dropped all penalties & cut the owed tax in half…Its like they are not used to dealing with people who don’t hate them…:lol

If anyone gets an audit this year they get to say...The Secretary of the Treasury does not understand the complexity of the tax rules, how am I supposed to?

I looked into joining the criminal investigations unit a few years back. When I mentioned my desire to join was based upon my "extreme love of shooting gangsters" they sadly denied my application.
