SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Authorities say a woman who had been out celebrating her winnings in the Ohio Lottery was killed when she was struck by a car.
The Ohio Highway Patrol says Deborah McDonald of Crystal Rock had just left a bar in north-central Ohio and was walking along a road Tuesday night when she was hit.
A spokeswoman for the Ohio Lottery says McDonald won
$8,000 in the lottery's TV game show Cash Explosion Double Play.
The show was taped Jan. 12 and is set to air at the end of the month.
Patrons at a tavern near Sandusky say McDonald was with a group that had been celebrating her winnings and playing pool Tuesday night.
Patrol Sgt. Joe Wentworth says they are looking into whether alcohol was a factor, but they don't think the driver of the car was drinking.

I know that there's not a lot of original thinking in the world anymore but I never dreamed it would get so bad that the Grim Reaper would resort to ripping off My Name is Earl.

She probably always walked home to the trailer park after the bar closed down. I have relatives in Sandusky; some of them even have teeth :lmao

You should be. It blows every other theme park I have ever been to out of the water, and that's based on when I went in 1999 before they had a few of their top rides (top rides according to my friends from the Great Lakes area). The Raptor (I think) and the Magnum are ridiculous.

I am excited but nervous because all other roller coasters pale in comparison to these. I don't know how it is going to feel experiencing this. I always get scared and excited at the same time while I wait in line for a roller coaster. It is that feeling though that I want/have to do it or I will regret it. How it is going to feel DURING the ride is what I am super curious about.

This would have been so much funnier and more fulfilling had she won a lot more money

I think it's funny that she won so little. Probably cost more to bury her than what she won after taxes.

That sure does take a lotto of the fun out of winning.
