Now the Clippers might be fun to watch.

Technically, he resigned from coaching duties. You can't "fire" yourself.

Dunleavy is still the GM of the Clippers. You would think he has some say on the matter.

I didn't see the other 2 at the bottom. My bad, I figured if there was a thread it'd be near the top.

That's got nothing to do with the fact he didn't step down as coach, the Clippers relieved him of coaching.

You would think he has some say on the matter. He probably stepped down cause he asked to only to concentrate on being the GM.

He didn't step down, the cover of the ESPN NBA page says "The Clippers have relieved Dunleavy of his coaching duties", do you have frontal lobe damage?

And the Clippers front office consists of? You have problems understanding the logic or what?

Do you believe everything you read on ESPN?

I mean, PTI once reported a fake Kobe Bryant story originally posted on Lakerstalk.

Having said that, it seems like a mutual decision. The Clippers official statement and Dunleavy on the radio says he voluntarily stepped down. If he was just fired then it doesn't really make sense to keep him on as GM.

They'll still suck.

From the Yahoo piece.

The Clippers said Thursday the move was voluntary and mutual for Dunleavy.

Making someone GM and coach is a ridiculously dumb idea. The Clippers got what they deserved with Dunleavy.

Hard to see all the real news with all the Kobe threads.

Probably fired himself to save money by bringing in a cheaper coach. I think in all its history, the clippers have been about winning one year.

Funny thing is, Kim Hughes is nothing more than a Dunleavy puppet. So Dumbleavy is still obviously pulling some strings here.
