What's up with The Ticket? Since the end of the season I haven't been listening to them. I finally tuned in yesterday and saw things were all changed around. It looks like they changed times, shows and maybe talkers a bit. Hell, maybe I even missed a post on the change.

From 2-5 pm it's Walter Pasacrita and Jeff Vexler for STSA.
From 5-8 pm it's the Thompsons Brothers for HardCoreSports.

Don Harris is a contributor on both shows.

So what time does Pop come on now?

Don Harris still does the Pop show, I think it's going to be on at 4:30pm during the season (I'm not sure which day). During the summer, Pop has been on randomly. He was on Monday. Here's the audio.

I tune in for about 10 minutes a day, It's always your top 4 base ball players. Your top 4 NFL players. Your top 4 bad calls. etc. Now I know why JT the Brick say's he can't stand topic radio. Jeff Vexler let me down taking the easy road. I really thought he was going to show me why he is a Talented sports Journalist If I want top 4 topics I can go read SR. Sorry to be bitter but I think we owe Pooh an apology he was right after all.

With football season in swing...i don't know how cowboy fans don't tune in online to the Ticket 1350. They have the Tuna's daily conferences, interviews with Jerry Jones, current and former players every week. I think since the programming change locally, I've listened to it about 3 times.

oops...yeah..1310 ...hehe...for my tastes it has the right blend of sports and non-sports talk...and for some reason the guys there have more personality. I especially love the "drops" or sound bites they save and replay. One of my faves is some past athlete is talking about the Univ of North Texas and assumes the college radio station just adds a K to the school initials and viola...a great radio bit.

I like the New Format!!

Vex and Walter are great!!

I think sometimes they spend too much time on one subject.

I listen everyday!!

Mouse, for once I agree with you.

Walter and Jeff are horrible. Don Harris is better now that he is on a limited basis. I originally did not like the Thompsons, but their show is much better than what we had in that time slot.

Where is Vex today?

I just hear Walter and have heard nothing on where Vex is?

Wasn't it on location somewhere?

I think they said yesterday that Walter was going to be out "somewhere" doing the show today.

I think Walter was out at the Texas Open, right?

Give them time to gel. They are certainly better than the "time-slot fillers" that were patched in there from 2-5 pm the past few years...at least from a local persective.

It's always your top 4 base ball players. Your top 4 NFL players. Your top 4 bad calls.

Why is it always top 4? Is San Antonio too small to have a top 10? How about your top 10 top 10 lists?

It's called "Your Top Four at Four". Callers call in and say their top 4 of ... at 4:00pm.
