Is anyone on here going to the All Star Game and/or NBA Jam Session?

I'm thinking about getting tickets to the first day of the NBA Jam Session in Dallas. The first day is Thursday. Is anyone on here going to the All Star Game and/or Jam Session?

going to the all star game on sunday may check out the city when i go up on saturday morning and see what there is to do heard they have a nice mall if not will probably check out that jam session im going to hate the 5 hour drive though

Is going to this gonna be worth it if you're driving about 40 miles to get there and having to deal with the possible icy roads on the way back? Do you think the weather will affect the NBA Jam Session on Thursday? And would I be a dumb-ass if I asked Jason Terry to sign a 2006 Dallas Mavericks Western Conference Champions bumper sticker? I also have a pennant too. I've heard that JET is going to be there on Thursday. Do you think it would piss him off if someone asked him to sign something like that?

I'm volunteering at the Jam session on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. They'll have it on Thursday, even if there's snow. I was at the orientation last night - and it really looks cool. There's lots of stuff to do and there will be several autograph sessions.

Because of the weather and excessive traffic, you might think about parking further out and taking the DART - it stops right across the street from the convention center. You can check out the routes and schedules on www.DART.org.

I live in Fort Worth, and I'm taking the train into Dallas - it only costs $7.50 for a round trip, and that includes catching the DART from Union Station to the Convention Center. I don't have to worry about traffic or parking!

NBA All-Stars and adidas athletes Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic, Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs and Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls will meet fans and sign autographs at local retailers during All-Star Week in Dallas. Howard and Duncan will sign autographs at The Parks at Arlington Mall on February 13 - Howard at Foot Locker from 2-3pm and Duncan at JCPenney from 3-4pm. Rose will appear at Foot Locker inside Galleria Mall on February 14 from noon-1pm.

Howard is making his fourth straight All-Star appearance for the East, Duncan is a 12-time All-Star for the West and Rose will play in his first All-Star game as an Eastern Conference reserve. The player appearances are FREE and open to all ages. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure a place in line.
