Texans don't deserve to be on any preseason contender list until they show they aren't gonna fold every year after a "promising start".

Too early for me to make predictions. Right now, I'd take the Jets to win the AFC East over New England, but there's a whole off season when that could change.

Promising start? I thought they're the team known for having a decent beginning before turning it up late in the season and finishing at around .500?

Definitely should wait until the draft and free agency to kick in first before making any predictions. The Saints have tons of players that may not be back in the fold next year like Bush and Sharper. I would, though, have to say that the Jets and Texans will be teams to keep an eye on next season.

They should draft Jevan Snead to motivate Sanchez :lol

I think Sanchez had his sophmore slump in the middle of his rookie season. Let's hope that the Lions and Browns took notice of the Saints winning the title...

:lol Jevean Snead looks like Peyton Manning with 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter of the super bowl, while facing a blitz. Except he looks like that all the time.

LOL...the dude was so overhyped in the preseason that it made me laugh when I'd watch an Ole Miss game and he'd throw an interception to a wide open defender. The guy would fit perfectly in with the Raiders... ;)

You don't even have a team. You're probably one of those pussies that roots for whoever has the most USC players on them.

I don't have a team because the city I call home doesn't have one and no I don't root for the teams with the most USC alumni playing for them either. Stop being trifling you Raider hoe...this is all in jest.

Sure...
Vikings and Pats wont even be in the playoffs? I know the NFC JV a.k.a. NFC West is gonna lose a contender in the Cards but I'm not ready to put the Niners(lol) in.

With all the ass he sucked this year they were 1 game behind New England. Sanchez threw 12 TD's and 20 picks this year, in order to have a sophomore slump one must actually have a good rookie year. Sanchez has nowhere to go but up.

Hey, this is the pre-preseason picks...doesn't mean I'll keep the Patriots and VIkings out, but A) There's no indication that Brett Favre is going to return to Minneapolis and B) The Patriots were one year removed from missing the playoffs, so it could happen. However, this isn't a final pick, just one I'd like to see. Cardinals w/o Warner and probably Boldin will struggle to win the NFC West.

Idk why to21 considers picking San Fran to be such a huge deal. They were 2nd in the division this year and the team that was first has tons of question marks headed into next season. A good block eating 3-4 defensive line, having maybe the best receiver in football, and having a future stud at RB are the only 3 surefire things for the Cardinals next year. Offensive line, QB, linebacker and the secondary are all a mystery.

And they have to get a running game. Steve Slaton had career threatening surgery not too long ago.

LOL at the texans being contenders. I agree in the AFC south that Indy and the Titans will make the playoffs, but I think Pittsburg bounces back unfortunately and Cincy will be good again. Then there's the Pats or Jets in the AFC East and of course San Diego out west.
But I say Colts vs. Cowboys or Packers in the Super Bowl.

For fucks sake at least see how the draft goes first.
With the uncapped year looming this offseason will be boring. The rules make it too difficult for free agents to leave teams this year so everyone will basically be as is with the addition of the draft.

Well, to break the monotony of the pre-season, the speculation makes it all the worthwhile to read. It also cuts down on the whole you and J.T. love/death fest.
Off-season officially starts as soon as the clock on the SB reaches triple 0's.
They're just predictions.
