Anybody play this yet?
I just got through the Chicks w/ Dicks Lust level. The game's pretty fucked up.
Aside from being a damn near carbon copy of the God of War series, though, it's a lotta fun. Fucking EVIL as hell.

Yeah, I got it yesterday. God of War with some really twisted shit thrown in. I like it but it doesnt really bring anything new to the table. Plus it kind of fucks up the origional "devine Comedy". Still... probably the best they could do for a game adaptation.
Also, the animated movie isnt too bad but it kind of pissed me off that each chapter has a "different" Dante.
Just made it to Anger.

Got this yesterday. I've never played GoW (bought the collection also though), so everything about this game is fresh. I'm having a blast with this so far though. I'm playing on Hellish so it's pretty damn hard (at least for me). Graphics are pretty stunning

Greed is impossible. The thought of lowering difficulty has crossed my mind but I won't do it. :pctoss
Other than that, I don't know why this game got such terrible reviews. Then again, these same people hailed "Madden 10" as the best NFL game of all time soooo :lmao

Took me just under 6 hours of actual game time to complete the game (my last save was at 5 hours 46 minutes or something like that).
I dont want to spoil too much but the ending comes with a "To be continued".
I figured as much since this was basically the first part of the Devine Comedy.
The end battle was kind of "meh". Too easy for my taste (there where harder battles in the game IMHO, the giant crazy horny bitch comes to mind), I thought it would be more hardcore with more GoW timed button mashing in the end, not so. I like the story adaptation so far though. It stays close enough to the Devine Comedy to look forward to the next game in the series. Hopefully they amp it up a bit.
I'll say play this game if your more into the story of a game than the action, though the action isnt at all bad once you get close to the 9nth circle, there's one instance where you have to survive a 5 minute onslaught of enemies.... that was fun.
Otherwise, stick with GoW. It's essentially the same type of game.
If I have a recommendation, stick with the holy line... the Cross powers kick so much ass its not even funny, especially in the end game.
Lets put it this way.... I defeated Lucifer in like 3 minutes just using my cross powers. No melee at all.

Just started yesterday with this one. Never played any GoW before and i've been enjoying it so far. And completely agree that the cross powers are just dope. It actually is making the game too easy right now.

Played this at someone's house for a bit. Wasn't bad, like an unpolished GOW. And with GOW3 coming on Tuesday this is a no go for me.
