NBA Scrub. He's one of those players that has JUST enough game to get call ups, but can't do anything to stay in the league. He's right on the bubble of being an NBA player, but certainly isn't the answer to anything except maybe your 15th (or last if you keep fewer players) roster spot.

This guy should be playing overseas, much more money there.

He'll figure that out, eventually. He might even improve his game over there, since they practice a LOT more there than they do in the NBA. There are some TOP NOTCH coaches over there.

He's averaging 14.8 rbs/gm. Even by D-league standards, that's damn welll ridiculous (as in that's the record for the league since founding...the current holder is James Thomas at 13.33 rbs/gm, 04/05 season). He's doing something right.

Yeah, and James Thomas is . . . where?

Exactly. They're both like that hitter that can tear up AAA ball, but can't hit the major league curve ball.

That last step before the major sport league is the highest and most unclimbable one.

Jones doesn't make a lot of sense for the moment but it can change after the trade deadline.
If Spurs lost some depth at the C spot because of a trade, signing Jones could be an option for Spurs.
