This was better than this years SDC. Fin's windmill is sick! :)

if I remember correctly, barry had a shirt under his jacked saying something like "white men can jump" but wasn't allowed to show it.

i remember watching finley back in the day, i think his rookie year he had some MONSTER dunks on the spurs. he was a beast back then.

and barry... i think its safe to say we will never see another White dunk champion.

I remember Finley busted out a baseline windmill on Yao Ming a couple of years ago at the AT&T, and everybody went into shock.

Everyone thinks of the shell of a player now but when he first got traded to Dallas and was the man there, Michael Finley was one of the better shooting guards in the NBA.

Crazy athleticism, could score 30 like it was nothing.

Playing under Don Nelson that long though killed him defensive wise and being a great overall player.

Didn't Fin have one of the more embarrassing dunk attempts in the history of the contest?

I don't recall that.

But no matter how bad it was, it would have just been middle-of-the-pack of the last 4 years.

The one the year after was bad too..most of the 90's contests were bad..the 1997 one really annoyed me though, Darvin Ham got robbed..

I don't know if it was the most embarrasing attempt but it beat a lot of what this year's contestants tried.

It was the year after this competition where he threw a pass, did a funny ass cartwheel, and almost had the dunk.

Yeah the cartwheel dunk was probably the third most retarded dunk in the history of the contest. Too bad numbers one and two actually won the contests for Dee Brown and Ced Ceballos.
