Seriously KD, do you need THAT?

That was just embarassing. The streak WAS amazing, now i lost the respect to every "extending" game.

And the announcers, what the hell...

1:30 left, Thunder 10+, Mavs bench the starters. With one minute Thunder bench them except Durant because he had like 21 or 22 points and the rest of the games he is jacking up shots to beat the 25.

It should have ended here, he was 8-27FGA...

Yes he should and i like him because he is a classy guy.

Running after a record in a game shooting 8-27FGA when the game is over...that stinks.

LOL son whats the big deal..let the city of OKC have some fun, no harm done. Players always do shit like that.

So he is making a great streak worthless in the future with that crap. Like a Allen Iverson scoring title with with shooting 39%.

It was supposed to end today.

I like KD! He is humble and classy. I was impressed by that streak. Now he screwed it for me.

'Eh the Celtics starting intentionally fouling in the final minute of a blowout to get Bird shots when he scored his career high 15 years ago. Everyone pads stats in the NBA.

Sort of like Pop asking Manu, "Do you care about your first triple double?" What was Manu's answer again?

Kobe gets called out for it ALL THE TIME

Lebron on the otherhand gets a free pass on shit like that.

Agreed many of the guys know how much they have ...
I thought they "forced" it a bit but it meant a lot to the OKC fans

If only there was something players could do if they didn't want other players scoring points.

He also said he didn't want his teammate, Westbrook, to beat his scoring record in the Rookie vs Sophomore game :)

Some players like their stats, records, streaks, etc. I don't have much of a problem with stat padding when the game is basically over with especially for respectable rising stars like Durant. Guys like that are still establishing themselves to the average fan.

I'm confused.

Did Kevin or did not Kevin throw a missed layup at his team's own hoop to collect a rebound to complete his triple double?

Apparently, he kept shooting w/ time on the clock, but, ya know, tuh-MAY-toe, tuh-MAH-toe.

I was disappointed that Durant did that tonight as well, but I've seen K. Bryant do that garbage-time scoring routine for about 13 years now.

Bryant is shameless with it. He does it over and over and over and over. Lakers up 14 with 3 minutes left, Bryant has 21.

Game over. Lakers win by 13. Bryant ends up with 30. It's the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. Phil Jackson's diplomatic commentabout it is..."He likes to get his numbers."

George Hill did this his rookie year and I saw not one post on this entire forum about it.

Baylor's apparently just as classless, as they left Ekpe Udoh in the game to try to get a block for a triple double.

OK. 25 years ago the Celtics committed a bunch of intentional fouls at the very end of a decided game to get Bird shots so he could set a career high in New Orleans.
