96 was a special crew until its best players started collapsing. 03 is right there with them because its Top 4 players are dominating right now.

2003 is top heavy but 96 was far more talented overall.

Greats: 84
Depth: 96
Balance twixt two: 03

I'll take 84 and not think twice, however. You give me Stockton, Jordan, Barkley and Olajuwon and I'll fill out the remainder of my nine-man rotation with second-rounders from that draft and take my chances.

GOAT/best SG, top 3 PG, top 3 center, top 5 PF of all times and you are asking us if 09 and 86 is better?

Jordan denied a whole generation rings; its unfortunate

The 84 class of stars had zero rings in the first six seasons after that draft

And don't forget Darco has one, too.

This thread reminds my friend owes me money for betting me money Danny Manning was drafted first in Jordan's draft class. Gotta love betting people money when they're drunk.

if you want to go by rings, the 1992 draft class owns your 1996 kobe ass.

1992 draft :

Shaq - 4 rings
Robert Horry - 7 rings
Alonzo Mourning - 1 ring
PJ Brown - 1 ring

anyone notice how the OP listed twice the amount of players for kobe's draft class than the others? and with guys like antoine walker?
