Maybe Mason whining about playing time will help Pop to realize that he's got a perfectly good shooter on the bench who isn't possibly as bad at defense as Keith Bogans is at...everything.

I guess we'll have to see if that 23 minutes he got last night was just showcasing, or if Pop has really given up on this guy. Personally, I'm glad to see him stay, but would obviously rather seem him being productive.

Mason made his complaint through his agent. Maybe he bitched to Pop in person, but we don't know that.

In any event, it's in the past and the best thing we can hope for now is that both Pop and Mason can be professional about it i.e. put it behind them and do whatever it takes to win.

But not only that, but there will come a day when a 31 and 21 team is still actually good. After Timmy, et al are gone there will bound to be a few down years. The Lakers, Celtics and Pistions all recently had them. One wonders what the board will be like at that time. Probably silent.
