So far he has been a bust on offense and defense
everyone else has been holding pat waiting for Duncan to turn it on
I hope Timmy makes me eat my words but so far he has sucked ass
Pop needs to start running plays for someone else if Duncan is going do his disappearing act. It's too bad the Spurs cant even use Duncan as a decoy.

Without David Robinson, average at best. Been saying it for two years, now maybe someone will listen.
He's a 'slightly' more glorified version of Chris Webber.

Kenyon. Next questionKeyon is 5-12 Duncan is 2-12 and Duncan is not stopping anyone but the Spurs
At least he knows to give the ball to the hot hand Robert Horry

Duncan had an off night tonight, the culprit being no time at all hardly in the first half.
If the refs don't give BS calls to him monday and he gets more PT in the first half, I expect a better effort out of TImmy.
Remember, Duncan had a big basket with under a minute to go, with the inbounds bank shot.

You kow canadien your basketball analysis sucks worse than a whore on cherry street.
The guy was an MVP candidate till the ankle roll over in Detroit.
He doesn't get hurt there, were talking about a another sweep over the Grizzlies and wondering who we want, Dallas or Houston.

3 playoffs game,
Tim sucks in 2 of them,
lose one because him,
win one in spite of him.
He says his ankle is fine, so what's up?

He needs a compatible center so defense would not fail. Offense can be brought if you have enough confidence and breathe. Rasho could be the answer. TD played poorly with Nazr. Even before playoffs.

Yeah, let's wave him. :lol
Tim Duncan is still getting his rhythm back from being gone. He'll be there.
And by the way, the shot that iced the game, TD.

Big deal...Tim had a bad shooting night...anyone remember him ever having two in a row? You will be eating your words after game 4.

People outside of SA are realizing now finally that the Spurs are not a "one-horse" team.

Tim is human but I liked the fact that he kept shooting.

I think there may be something to the Drob thing, TD hasn't been the same dominant guy since david retired.

Duncan was getting the ball in the wrong areas thanks to the double and triple teams of the Nuggets. They were going to make sure that he didn't beat them. The Niggets forgot about the rest of the team.
But props to the rest of the team that won this game.
Oh... and where the fuck was Parker at last night?
I am barely hangin onto his wagon, dude needs to wake the hell up.

How can anyone in here who claims to be a spurs fan doubt or rip TD, some of you in here are just ungrateful and in my opinion not true fans. OH he hasn't been the same guy since robinson left, okay reality check D-Rob had a ton of winning tams that were seeded high in the playoffs and they always faltered he needed TD to win those titles because he could not lead them there. Robinson was like Ewing in his career great player but did not make his teamates around him better enough to get over the hump. TD 2 titles 2 mvp's 2 finals Mvp's and people are giving him shit come on guys he will be fine just relax. The assertion that TD is not the same since David retired is just dumb he was averaging 23 and 13 a game last year a legit MVP candidate before ther knee injury and 22 and 12 this year before the ankle sprain, he has been slowed a bit by these injuries but he will come around he was fine in game 2 he just has to get his rythm back.

Look, Duncan was off last night. Don't blame Duncan for going 4-16, blame Pop for not realizing what everyone on this thread saw and going elsewhere for offense.
Typical Pop.

Should the Spurs have went to Duncan undera minute in the game for that bank shot????
Oh wait, Glen Robinson should have shot it, right right......

Tim is the core of the team. Make room on the bandwagon for those who jump back on after the next game.

No.... Manu should have. Duh. It's called riding the hot hand. The only one you seem capable of riding is Pop's (even when it's below freezing).
Tim is the core of the team. Make room on the bandwagon for those who jump back on after the next game.
No one's saying to waive the guy. All his shots were short. He had no lift on them. When that's happening you need to realize it and go other places for offense (see Horry, Robert and Ginobili, Manu).
Nights where Duncan is sucking shooting he needs to morph into the greatest role player of all time - rebound, block shots, set screens - and let whoever else is on do their thing.
