If you factor in Williams stats and if he never went to war, how close would he be to the top of the All-Time Home Run list?

Well he missed almost 5 seasons total, 3 when he was young, 2 when he was older. He was hitting 35+ HRs around the time of WWII, and about 25 around the time of the Korean War. He likely would've been just under 700 HRs. Still, maybe the best hitter in MLB history.

Over Cobb and Hornsby?

Over Cobb and Hornsby?

With the way he hit for power and average? Possibly IMHO. I don't know if we'll see a combination of those two for a while (I guess you can argue for Pujols).

Williams is the Greatest Hitter in Baseball history hands down. He had the perfect swing. He would of easily reached 700 if not for the years he missed, but what he really wanted was to win a world series.
