Rockets fans... got a question.

Had a couple questions if anyone could help me out though..

Me and a group of guys are going to houston to watch the spurs/rockets game next weekend and we are not familiar with htown at all.

are there many hotels by the toyota center? any favorites?

Are there any good places downtown to go get some drinks and stuff before the game? maybe with some other fellow basketball fans...

after the game we are planning on going out as well... are there any places you would recommend to go to on a friday night?

Lots of hotels by Toyota Center. There is the 4 seasons hotel, the Hilton, the Hyatt etc. If you walk across to House of Blues there are several bars in the near vicinity. If you want to go to bar and club central drive over to Washington street but on Thur-Fri-Sat it's a zoo and major traffic jam. Oh and there is a sports bar right there near Toyota Center.
