These are the only real "non-true" fans, because they don't ride along with the rest of the fans through the lows as well as the highs. They may even more fully adopt another team in another city when they are doing better. With the exception of 1995 (conference finals loss to Houston), I never felt the Spurs were the best team in the league going into the playoffs. Jordan and Hakeem pretty much dominated the decade and their teams were always thought to be the favorites during the pre-Duncan era.
