Hot Olympic couple alert: Evan Lysacek and Nastia Liukin are dating, says People.com.
There has been speculation about the couple – who met in October 2008 in Rapid City, S.D., and who attended the ESPYs together in July. But now Lysacek is confirming it. "We became good friends and have become really close since then," he says. Evan's ex-girlfriend is U.S. Olympic ice dancer Tanith Belbin, who is competing tonight in the final round of ice dancing.
In August, Lysacek went to Dallas to cheer on Liukin as she competed in the U.S. Nationals in gymnastics. "It was cool but nerve-racking watching her compete – to be on the balance beam like that? For me, it's easier to do it then watch it," says Lysacek, 24. This past week, Liukin, 20, has been in Vancouver rooting for Lysacek. "To see his dreams come true was amazing," Liukin says.
