Though the Spurs enter tonight's game in seventh place in the Western Conference and teeter close to being pushed out of the playoff picture altogether, Parker virtually guaranteed they will make the postseason.
“We'll make the playoffs,” he said. “I'm not worried about that. That doesn't even cross my mind.”

Maybe he should guarantee he's healthy next season by not playing for his crappy national team this summer.

Things that TP should guarantee before he can say that we'll make the playoffs:

- STFU
- less ballhogging

Only Allanon would try to argue a semantic like that.

Hard to argue with him. The closest competition are the Hornets and they're basically a .500 team without CP3. Now, if the Hornets are only 1-2 games behind when CP3 comes back, then it would be a real concern.

If spurs can beat the whorenets 2 straight next week then they will make it. If they don't they won't and won't deserve it either.

No doubt they'll make the playoffs, most likely they will be a low seed probably 6-8. But they do have a chance to pull an upset if they can get their acts together before the playoffs.

The Spurs need to right the ship tonight against the Thunder.

^No shit, I'm so relieved as a Spur fan that this team exudes so much confidence.

Back when Houston and Memphis were playing well, there was a decent probability that the Spurs would miss the playoffs. With Houston in a tailspin since trading Landry and Memphis sucking since the AS break, it looks like the Spurs are almost guaranteed a spot though, even if they keep playing at the shitty level they have all season.
