Parker will play vs. OKC (http://blogs.mysanantonio.com/weblogs/courtside/2010/02/parker-will-pla-1.html)
By Jeff McDonald

Tony Parker will get his wish. He will return to the Spurs' starting lineup tonight against Oklahoma City.

Parker sat out Sunday's loss at Detroit with a strained muscle in his lower abdomen. An MRI taken Monday showed Parker would not risk further injury by playing, leaving his availability subject only to his own pain tolerance.

"Tony said he wants to play," coach Gregg Popovich said in his pregame meeting with reporters earlier this evening. "He's the only one who knows how he feels. The doctors have cleared him, the training group has cleared him. Tony wants to go, so he's going to go."

With Parker available again, Popovich will trot out his 19th unique starting lineup of the season -- George Hill and Keith Bogans on the wings, Tim Duncan at power forward and Antonio McDyess at center.

I just hope he doesn't make the injury worse. France needs him this summer.

Abdomen now? I thought it was hip. Is there a body part that isn't injured?

And thank the heavens that the Bonner experiment died.

IT seems to be a different body part every other game.

Holy fuck, they're talking about how much they love Bonner on the pre-game show and how they're surprised Matt Bonner isn't playing at his November level late in the season (again :pctoss).

Good to see Parker back, but he was far from impressive.

In just over 25 minutes of play, he scored four points (2-6 FG), grabbed zero rebounds, dished out no assists, and recorded five fouls.

Parker is bad this year, very bad at times it seems (As far as being hurt). If he was at the level of last year with this team would have won atleast 5 more games or so and be in first by now in their division, book it.
