I agreed with Harlemheat's chase for Haywood. The guy likes to play defense and wants to win. Some people said he was putting up big numbers on a bad team that is not getting wins, well now he is putting up big numbers on a pretty darn good team in Dallas and getting wins.

In order to get Haywood the spurs would have needed to trade something that was actually halfway decent, which would have caused 50% of spurs fans to have an immediate epileptic seizure on the spot.

Thomas otoh was available for scrap expiring contracts and 1st rounder.

true...lets say they give up Hill for Haywood! does it increase our chances this year? I think so! would it have started a riot on this board? of course!

I liked KT and Theo and if we had a true shot at making the finals, I'm sure at least Theo still would be in black and silver.

For Dyess and especially Bonner: The staff (especially Pop) sees those guys more than anyone of us. They know what they have in them! So if Pop says: Bonner is giving us more than Ian or Blair, I trust him!
We still have one of the best (IMHO THE BEST) coaches in the league! Does he make mistakes? Of course he does! You know...its human!?!

Apparently you don't like it when ppl point out how dumb the spurs' F.O. is for not obtaining Thomas' services and keeping Ratliff around?

If I were you I would pretty much expect a daily stat line of Thomas/Theo till the end of the season so I'd learn to like it instead of bitching about it.

this is looking bad for POP. in 5 games Theo has started 5 and is avg. 2.4 blocks a game.

this is looking bad for POP. in 5 games Theo has started 3 with CHA and is avg. 2.4 blocks a game. and avg 24 min a game.

in 21 games he played for the spurs he started 3 and only avg. 0.9 blocks a game.
