Kobe dresses like a pimp. This is a big game for the Lakers coming up. Might need Kobe's clutchness to avoid Denver really putting it on them so far this regular season.

I'm gonna give Wife Beating Vick credit for his game, he played the best all-around game I've seen from him in a long time..I don't think he can play defense like that on a regular basis(he hasn't at all this season from an individual standpoint and Anthony torched him earlier in the season), but he looked good today..

It helps that he doesn't get called for the same shit that the majority of other players in the NBA get called for, including Afflalo today..

Nuggets remain that awesomely talented team that can look very dominant through long stretches yet completely fall apart when it matters. Denver got off to a nice advantage, Kobe's shot was non existent and every call was going the Nuggets way. Still they didn't manage to put the game away early and allowed the Lakers to come back late.

Every analyst can tell me how good Denver is looking, but I won't believe they are capable of winning a championship until they actually do. I have just seen them come loose too many times.

Want a copy of the NBA rule book?

I was under the impression that when a player tips the ball from one side of the halfcourt to the other, and it's recovered by a teamate without anybody on the other team touching it that it's a halfcourt violation?

"A player shall not be the first to touch a ball which he or a teammate caused to go from frontcourt to backcourt while his team was in control of the ball."

or is it not considered "control" of the ball when your team is shooting freethrows and you're tipping the offensive rebound back? thats the only way I see it not being called..is that the case?

I don't know what you guys are talking about here..how did Denver fuck up at the end?..it wasn't any different from any other part of the game..Anthony fouled out on a horrible call, Billups' struggled all game, they couldn't make a 3 at the end..I wouldn't say they choked at all..

Usually the Nuggets do have some mental issues, but they just lost tonight..I'll have to see it in a series to believe it too, but they have a very legit chance to beat the Lakers in a series until Stern makes a call when it matters..

As long as Lawson plays a good amount of minutes instead of Carter, Afflalo doesn't get screwed on calls too much and Anthony stays aggressive, they can beat them in a series IMO..

They called a moving screen on Carmelo when Denver was making its move, and that was a legitimate call. They called Carmelo, while trying to get position on Ron Artest, for a no-call that took away one of the best players on Denver when they had 2 minutes to overcome a Lakers lead.

And Ron Artest, who has gotten in a players' face for getting a no-call, and he had a legitimate complaint, that eventually got him tossed, pumped his fists in victory.

Why because Mark Jackson said so? Anthony clearly pushed off you got to be blind not to see that. Could it had been let go? Yes. Have they called a lot less contact fouls on the Lakers all game? Yes. If it was a game where Lakers got away with fouls on the Nuggets ok I would get why you would want the refs to give Melo a hand and not foul him out when he clearly pushed artest arm away. However every little contact all game was being called in the Nuggets favor I don't see how anyone can complain about that call after that game.

how bout the bullshit calls that got our big man out of the game for a majority of the first half? How bout those? How bout Kobe getting hacked in the paint with no calls yet Nene shoulders Gasol and its a foul? DO you want to make a list of fouls? Because at the end, Denver shot 33 FT's and Lakers shot 21.
