You should feel like an idiot. How can you not see a parked car?

When I was 16 I backed into a parked conversion van ... I probably would have bolted, but he had been inside watching TV when I hit it. :oops

You are not profoundly sad and will get over it. I wish that was the only problem that I had. :depressed

When I was 12 my brother told me to go start his car in the garage. Me not knowing how to drive standard sent it through the garage.

So the guy called me back and said it was an old car and didn't want any money to repair the scratch (no dent). How cool is that? :lobt2:

There was a guy who lived across the street who never parked in his driveway and always parked directly across my driveway. I asked him several times if he could park a little further up because my driveway was sloped and it was hard for me to see his car when I backed out. He always said sure but never moved. So of course one day I backed right into his little Tercel or whatever and it made the awfullest sound. One of my kids yelled "I think Mom ran over a beer can!". The guy wasn't home so I left a note on his front door and I never heard from him at all about it. But he moved his car finally.

Yeah I would watch out for that. If he was pissed off and knew you did it, he could report the accident to his insurance as your fault. And if you didn't report it, you'd look like you were trying to hide it and be liable for a suit.

one time my friend got way too stoned and backed over the return box at Hollywood Video and ran. whats ironic is that he was working at Hastings at that time.

We used to let grocery carts go and watch them hit cars. Did some pretty decent damage a time or two.

I thought you were gonna say you left a note because people were watching, and the note would have read "I hit your car wanted to run but I was seen so I wrote a note to make it look cool" and left no contact info.

That's nothing. We used to put vans in neutral and roll them down hills.

Glad it all worked out. Someone swiped the front of my car a few weeks ago at the gym and didn't leave a note...and I've had my car less than 6 months.

:nope

If I found out my son/daughter was doing this there would be an epic ass beating coming.
