Say hi to Dallas lol. Playing the Mavs would be a DISASTER for ya'll...4-1 again if not a sweep. Best to inform Pop that the Mavs will likely be either the #2 or 3 seed and he should plan accordingly. This means shoot for #5 or #8. Fully expect the Spurs to avoid this matchup like the plague

Nice take but you FAIL. I am a Mavs fan and have always been. Though I do pull for the other teams in Texas as well when not playing the Mavs.

Don't worry I would anticipate that Pop learned from last year and wants no part of the Mavs...he'll either tank or have the Spurs go all out to get the necessary seed

So far, the only thing you can depend on, regarding Dallas basketball, is that they are going to choke. If TP isn't 100% they have a good shot of getting by us, but if history has taught us anything, it's that the Mavs will choke at some point. The more you get yourself all jacked-up, the more the inevitable will hurt.

Dallas does not play well in the playoffs when they are favored. I still remember the epic finals failure followed by the lost to the Warriors. No other team has ever experienced such epic failure. I expect they will add to the legend this year, as well.

Stay Humble, because all that cockiness will get you and your favorite team nowhere! Maybe a first round win, but thats it! With that said, you must only pay attention to the Mavs, and not the whole NBA! The Spurs are only 3 games behind in the Loss column, after what is beind said for them having a tough season so far! anything can happen, and i dont think you want to see the Spurs as much as the Spurs dont want to see your team in the first round! Remember, Manu is coming back to form, guys are healthy, they have dropped some bad apples so far, tim is playing like tim, Jefferson is finally getting comfortable, and they are regaining their confidence at the right time! Dallas is getting hot too at the right time, but the Spurs are not to far behind, and the Spurs have two more games, to see how they fair against dallas! remember, the last game of the season, is a soon to be classic matchup between the Spurs and Mavs!!

Good time to be an NBA fan!!!!!!!! :flag:

I think the Spurs will move up into at least the 5 seed by season's end. I don't expect them to lose as many game as the prognosticators expect from here on out. They might even slide up in the 4 or better. While everyone talks about the Spurs' tough schedule from here on out, well hey, its also tough on their opponents. They'll be facing a more focused Spurs team with little room for lightness/error. Also, at least facing tougher competition here on out will force the Spurs to take every game seriously and not afford many lapses.

I don't think this team is done yet. They may surprise us down the stretch and, in fact, I expect them to.

Agreed. With RJ going to the 2nd unit and Fin gone I think this team will be more focused. Right now it's just a feeling. I've seen them string together wins only to take a step backwards later. The season is on the line and as you said there is no room for error anymore.
