Everybody should quit making fun of ATRAIN's Korn obsession. Remember he was a very angry kid. He just revealed to me that he was in a mosh pit at a Metallica concert. His teenage angst was deep.

Great band! Love Gorillaz. Their first two albums were really good and from what I've heard of this one it's really good as well. One of the better bands out today along with The Killers.

Crazy that Damon Albarn was in Blur too, but I like Gorillaz infinitely more than I like Blur.

I have pretty much Blur's entire catalogue, and while I love their work, their albums suffer from the 5 great songs/5 fillers problem. I'd recommend their self-titled as their best album (especially Beetlebum and Death of a party), and otherwise go with the Greatest Hits which covers most of the fantastic tracks from the breadth of their career like There's no other way, For Tomorrow and Boys and Girls.

Ohhh I dunno Ruff, I have Blur's entire catalogue as well, and I think everything from "Modern Life is Rubbish" all the way through "Think Tank" has been great. I think a greatest hits is nice for someone new to the band, but they've got some killer album tracks that people would miss out on. "Parklife" in particular is definitely a classic all the way through.

Granted, they've got some rubbish songs ("Crazy Beat" in particular) but I think Blur is one of the most consistent bands since 1990. What sucks, is that in North America, most people only know them because of "Song 2", so the "whoo hoo guys" don't get nearly as much credit around here as they deserve.

Fair enough. I think they really hit their stride on Blur, which I can listen to all the way through, but before that I find their albums patchy and annoying. Each to his own I guess. You are right though that the greatest hits misses a lot of great album tracks.

As for the Song 2 comment, I can totally see that. The really annoying thing is that Song 2 isn't even in the top 3 tracks on the album IMHO.

I was never a big Blur fan. One of my cousins friends is a huge fan of Blur. I always sided with Oasis more than Blur.

As for Song 2 that happens with alot of bands, especially British bands. 75 percent of people only know them by one song...case in point..Oasis with Wonderwall.

I lvoe this album. Little Dragon goes perfectly with what the Gorillaz brought. Empire Ants, Binge, Stylo, Rhinestone are all top notch.

There are a couple filler tracks it seems (sweepstakes), but overall it is a solid album. There aren't many groups out there that touch different genres of music and make it seem one genre with their unique style.
