i kinda agree, the other day i was thinking about how i like depriving myself of things, and maybe God was telling me STFU you know nothing about deprivation.

if it wasn't locked to something then you shouldn't complain. If it was locked properly then that really sucks

You can actually flip bikes and make some decent coin. Especially for a kid.

locked and stocked, with "the most unbreakable lock in the industry," i stayed at the location for like an hour hoping for the perpetrator to return to the scene of the crime, but i guess thats only applicable to serial killers.

I remember the days of riding up to the local corner store to play the arcade games and flipping our bikes upside down so people won't steal them.... like that even remotely works.

Did you check the Alamo?

Personally, stealing a bike is really a shitty pussy thing to do. Why do that? How much are bikes worth now anyways? Stealing a bike is like taking a dump on your neighbor's yard. Sure, it's easy but why? If you're gonna steal something, steal something that's worth a lot of money.

exactly how i feel, especially when most people who ride bikes are people trying to save money or dont have money for a car. like me.

Stay in school, go to college, get an education, get a job, get your own place, then buy yourself a car.

They stole my Laptop $$$ today :[
I reported it and the cops were able to look at the security tape and find the guy.
I got extremely lucky and actually got it returned. I just assumed that it was gone. I'm locking up all my stuff from now on and assuming the worst.

Props for the Pee-wee's Big Adventure, ytmnd, and Friday references.

On topic: My family had one or two bikes stolen while we were away(must have been 15 years ago). Weirdest thing was that it was pretty apparent that they entered the house and only took a carton of cigs from a shelf while ignoring the expensive stuff like the video camera, televisions, computer, video games, etc. Guess they only took the light stuff they could carry on the bike.
