Rachael Maddow points out that he has paid $600 a month for a swanky room with meals in the Capital Hill C Street mansion for years which amounts to a big donation or subsidy - paid for by 'The Family' - yes the American Taliban group. Did he pay taxes on it? Did he declare it? Who subsidized him? She just handed the Dems ammunition against him just as he battles to thwart health care reform. Expect a lot of huffing and puffing from him over the next few days on this one...
