Ole Miss sophomore Terrico White will stay in the NBA draft, a source close to the situation tells DraftExpress.

Bruno: the link in the draft prospect index for this player points to Kyle Singler.

A big bump for this guy, with the trade rumors circulating. Highest vertical in the draft class, along with the 2nd fastest sprint for 3/4 court, behind Wall with a 0.01 difference. Shooting percentage needs a little bit of work. It could be a reach to draft him at number 20 but if he falls to 49 (unlikely though), the Spurs could nab him. He also has a 6 foot 9 wingspan and is a big PG and good size to be a shooting guard. Basically a combo guard. He has impressed in the combine and looks to move up into the 1st round with the lack of depth at the PG spot in the draft.

fantastic athlete, but I really can't see him play anything else than SG in the NBA. playing him at PG in Mississippi was a disaster. he was somewhere compared to Flip Murray. I guess that's pretty accurate.
or maybe Fred Jones. (that's my thought).

Great numbers, but if I was forced to pick a combo guard in this draft I would probably go with Dominique Jones over this kid.

Jones every day.
but again, the problem is that White is somehow mistaken as a combo guard, which he isn't IMO. he is a pure SG.

Skilled but dumb as a pack of pop rocks!

Which brings up a curious point, I've frequently wondered just how dumb pop rocks are.

they are significantly dumber than Marshmallows, but still smarter than jelly beans. maybe Skittles is an accurate comparison.

Former Ole Miss guard Terrico White is expected to work out for the Grizzlies four days before the June 24 NBA draft.

White is projected as a second-round draft pick but is working hard to convince an NBA team to use a first-round selection to grab him. The former Craigmont star is scheduled to visit the Griz June 20 after workouts at Miami (June 3), San Antonio (June 4), Atlanta (June 14) and Milwaukee (June 16).

Summary: He is going to have another workout for the Spurs and he says he is working on his point guard skills and shooting range. He wants to show that he can be that big point guard teams want on their team, a player who can score and pass.

Envisions himself to be a D-Wade type of player after 3 seconds of comtemplation. Had a smile on his face when he said that.

My opinion: I hope he falls to the unlikely 49. But realistically, the Spurs could try and get an early 2nd to draft him. I really like his elite athletic ability and size at both guard positions.

Rather go with Dominique Jones than White.

As noted in this thread, the Spurs apparently worked White out twice. At 20, he's a reach. He's short, not a very good shooter and is a bit of a project. At 49, he'd be a pretty good pick. He could be sent to Austin where they could try to turn his athleticism into defensive ability.
