Ghost is probably fourth to Meth, GZA and RZA in terms of solo success, but I'm so down. More so than with those other three.
Ghostface just fucks my mind up. Everything I like in an mc.

You stupid Shit!

Admittedly, I may have overreacted, but you've GOTTA know how little sense your OP made. That's where my (perhaps somewhat unwaranted) hate came from. That, and you're always gonna annoy me.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand.

A few really good songs that might not necessarily by obscure depending on what you listen to and what kind of hip hop you like, but not necessarily commercially popular stuff.

Warning for this one: very explicit lyrics with sexual content

2ogp4toQSPM

Not a long song and didn't get any radio play at the time, but it's my favorite from Jeru's first album:

aJNoDbcc9L4

Not obscure if you listen to Erick Sermon and got his Erick Onasis album:

Dr. Octagon is incredible shit. It's maybe my favorite hip hop album of all time. The original version (Dr. Octagon) was way better than the one you can find in stores though (Dr. Octagonecolegyst).

This one was left off the reissue:

ghost' raps are so fucking multi-layered, its hard to imagine the majority are just made in his car.

but to call the dude obscure is a joke, probably the most acclaimed, most visable member still carrying the torch these days. early 90's were meth & odb's, late to early "00s were gza/rza's, but after pretty toney there hasn't been a member who stands out as much than tony starks. rza and gza chase the indie love w/their weird colabs, but ghost just gets it on raw talent.

kool keith also was another good mention but hardly obscure. when dave grhol is quoted as saying you're the only rapper he listens to, then you're pretty fucking mainstream.

when i think obscure i think like B L A C K I E all caps no spaces for those who want noise and grimecore beats with their hip-hop, or immortal technique for the leftist out there...

for instance tops drop is the definitive texas anthem, we all should know that song, and if you dont jam that you should evaluate your lifestyle choices

im proud of it, by defintion it evokes pride, emotion, loyalty and sympathy for pat. but do i post it, its sophies choice
