Well, they are losing to the Bucks. Lets see if that continues and we can lay to rest that little debate?

What happened to Bron? His ankle? He dropped effin' 40 last night?

Picc praying the Cavs destroy the Bucks like LA did UTA, SAS & POR without Kobe.

Not really fair though, because they are missing Shaq and Big Z as well.

Cavaliers give James a night off against Bucks (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-cavaliers-jamesout&prov=ap&type=lgns)

LeBron James is getting a night off for the first time this season.

Cavaliers coach Mike Brown says he’s sitting his superstar, calling it “just a coach’s decision” to keep him out of Cleveland’s game against Milwaukee on Saturday night.

“He’s played a lot of minutes for us,” Brown said. “I just felt it would be good for him and for the team to hold him out.”

“He’s played a lot of minutes for us,” Brown said. “I just felt it would be good for him and for the team to hold him out.”

James had 40 points and 13 rebounds in a 99-92 victory over the Pistons on Friday night, but also turned his right ankle slightly. Brown said his decision had “nothing” to do with the injury and James could play if needed.

Lakers without Kobe > Cavs without LeBron

Lebron has pretty much all but clinched the MVP. No debate here.

Lebron as a coach > Mike brown as a coach hahaha.

........and?

all that means is LeBron as a coach > Phil Jackson as a coach. And we know this shit cuz Jordan ran the team for all 6 rings, then Shaq ran the team for the next 3.

Phil Jackson has one legitimate ring, and even that shit ain't legit cuz of collusion with the Gasol Trade.

Zen Buddhist Phil is the most overrated motherfucker on earth.

Shaq ran the team? That has to be one of the dumbest things i have read on this forum. That dumb motherfucker can barely tie his own shoes.

Wow wtf Mike Brown. lol if Cavs are gonna lose.

No big deal.

The Cavs will be the one seed in the east! One night off won't affect that!
Giving Lebron a rest is a page from the Popovich coaches playbook.

Plus the Spurs play the Cavs in Cleveland on Monday night as well.

Shaq on the team = 3 rings

Shaq gone = shitty team until collusion

you do the math.

The Cavs won the regular season series against the Lakers. So if they end up tied, Cavs will have HCA in the Finals.

Also, the Lakers still have more tougher road games left in the season than the Cavs.

The Cavs would have to go into a slump in order to lose the best record in the league.

Did you ever watch shaq in his prime? :lol easily top 3 centers of all time. No one dominated the NBA like he did for that 5 or 6 year span

That team was primed to win rings regardless of who was coaching. Phil Jackson is a shitty fucking coach but that doesn't mean he's dumb. He was smart enough to see a golden opportunity, and he took it.

The 2000-2002 Lakers were so good damn near any coach could have 3-peated with them. And tbh any decent coach would have beaten the Pistons in 2004. Phil Jackson blows balls so naturally he couldn't harness the incredible talent of that 04 squad. Therefore they lost to a far inferior team with far superior coaching.

and naturally as soon as Phil saw that Kobe was turning into the best player in the league, he went from trashing Kobe in his book to riding his nuts on the bench. and he was exposed a shitty coach until Jerry West rode in on a white horse and gave Phil his Pau Gasol.

Have Phil Jackson coach this year's Bobcats squad and they're 2nd to last in the Eastern Conference.

The guy sucks ass as a coach, but he got lucky with Jordan, smartly campaigned for the Lakers job when Shaq hit his prime, and then smartly stopped talking shit about Kobe when Jerry West promised to give him another championship caliber team via collusion.

CIA Mike Brown at his best. He wants to avoid the Bobcats and place the Bucks at the 8th seed. All part of his schemes.

Phil didn't get lucky with Jordan :lol

Phil had to tame Jordan and make him play team ball. Jordan fought the triangle offense for a long time before he finally bought into the program. He also maximized Pippen's skillset and put him in a position to succeed.

My favorite Phil Jackson anecdote was him singling out Jordan in the huddle during the '91 Finals....

After Jordan goes one on three and ignores his open shooters Phil calls a timeout and singles Jordan out in front of his teammates.

Phil: "Who's open Michael?"
Jordan: silence
Phil: "Who's open?"
Jordan: silence
Phil: "Michael who's open?"
Jordan: Pax
Phil: "Then get him the fuckin ball"

Mike feeds the hell out of Paxson in the final minutes and the rest is history. Jordan needed a coach who would stand up to him. Loughery and Doug Collins sure as hell didn't. No coach dared talk to Jordan like Phil did and that's why Jordan respected the man and bought into the program.

Phil is a good coach, perhaps because he's not afraid of being fired for pissing off star players.

However, he has a knack for showing up on teams with star players peaking.

Well if you got 6 rings with the Bulls you could also choose which team to coach.

Phil Jackson ain't exactly a small guy, though. I don't think I'd argue with him unless my name was Shaquille O'Neal. :lol
