Here's a riddle. How many games do you think Tony will play before next year's preseason?
There are at least three possible sources of games.
First, this season's regular saeson.
Second, this season's playoffs.
Third, the French National Team's FIBA Tournament.
There's even a slight chance that the Spurs might play Tony in a few summer league games.
It's hard to guess any of these variables. For example, Pop might keep Tony out altogether until next season -- especially if things to start to go too badly for the team (or too well). If so, and Tony doesn't play for France, his games between now and next preseson might actually be zero.
I'd put the over/under number at 10. Five or less in the regular season and five or so in the playoffs.
Could be none, could be 20 or more if the team exceeds all expectations.
I'm going to go "over" the 10 but, then, I'm an optimist.
