As the last few games have shown, Spurs have been gelling much better with TP limited minutes. Could they gel even better and actually show better results with TP out???

Didn't we have one of our best games of the season without him beating Denver at Denver?

The Spurs can win games without Tony.

They can win games without Manu.

They can win games without Tim.

They're not better when one of the Big 3 is unable to play.

These are like the are the Lakers better w/o Kobe ideas. It looks nice for a few games but the talent gap is too wide that it's not sustainable.

This is the truth. I think they could have better games without tony, but not a better playoff run.

Others have said it. Some players will step up and play above their heads for a short time. It is not sustainable. In the end you are who you are and the Spurs are a much better team with Tony in the line-up.

I haven't seen the CoM this happy since that time Manu almost won Finals MVP.

Moot question. Parker is out.

The team needs to be the best it can be without him.

No - TP is part of the big 3 and only with them can the Spurs win against elite teams. The Spurs will win some games but ultimately fall short without him. He's that important.

Only if they tank and draft John Wall.

they could if RJ, Hill and Mason all step it up

but we'll need TP for playoffs no doubt

you're way off my friend. Loss of Parker is devastating and probably puts a nail on the coffin on our championship chances. But, Spurs chemistry has been improving in the last 5 games or so, concidentally when Parker has been out or limited. So thus my question.

BTW, I voted No. :)

They may be worse on the court, but their douche-baggery level dropped by 99%

They'll continue to lose to good teams (see tonight if Lebron plays) and pull out wins most nights against bad teams. Basically, they'll be on the same course they've been on most of the season...no better, no worse.

Heck no... that's 16 points + almost 7 assists per game we're missing... that adds up to about 26 ppg!

better ball movement,

players who need touches to be effective, will get the touches

GHILL3 will step up his game, just watch....

With Parker we can make it to the WCF IMO, without him we may make it to the 1st round.

Tony exploits a PG problem match up every night. I love Hill's game, but at this time the team needs Parker to compete against the elite teams.
I expect the team to still play with a lot of heart and that "underdog" mentality to get enough wins to reach the play offs. Once in the play offs, we will need Parker disrupting the opposing teams defense to move to the next round.

I've stated that ever since we drafted GH3 that TP is tradeable. And yes, I do think our team gels better without TP.

wow. GH3 is decent but too soon to call him a starting NBA PG yet

his individual D is great and superior than TP's but his team D sucks!

Spurs will improve their defense, that's for sure.
Parker has been a serious liability in that area for 90% of the games.

Unfortunately, Spurs have no back-up point guard, so non-PGs Hill manu and Mason will run the team, sort of.

Absolutely not.

sad thing is. Even with Parker playing, I would not have bet big money on Spurs. :(

I could easily see them lose at full strength.
