hey spurs fans,
Dont get too upset about this game. The FO gave up on this season and so has pop.No reason to beat yourself up.lets look forward to next season and see how this team can improve.

Next season
1-resign manu to a 2 or 3 year deal.
2-sign a dominant young center.I dont know how good spiltter is.he might be what we need.
3-keep parker, hill
4-Blair will develop and be much better
5-get rid of bonner, mason, mahimi, hairston, bogans, dyss.use the money to reload like we did in 2003.
6- this is the tricky one, get rid of RJ.Dont know who will take this fool but if we get rid of him we can make a push for one of the free agents.if we cant by the beginning of the season maybe by the trade deadline.
7-POp needs to emphasize defense and stop depending on the 3
8-After a terrible season, the FO will respond.Duncan wont stand and watch.he will urge them to do something.

one last thing, as long as tim plays we still have hope.next year will be better.believe.

:lol

Nobody's going to touch either of them. Only way we get out of their contracts next season is if RJ decides to opt out of 15 million(not happening) and if Dice decides to retire.

1. 2 years for Ginobili, not 3.
2. Splitter has to be the guy because there's probably no one this team could realistically get to come close to what you're describing. I wouldn't call Splitter dominating either; he projects as an above average role player. But he should be a good fit because Duncan needs a mobile, center-sized big next to him to guard PF's and help him protect the rim; Splitter can fill that role.
3. Agreed.
4. Hopefully.
5. I'd keep Hairston and potentially Bonner, or if he can't be moved, McDyess. But I wouldn't keep both.
6. More than likely this will occur by the trade deadline.
7. He's a hypocrite. Emphasizing defense, yet often playing lineups that have no chance to be successful defensively.
8. I'm skeptical. Hopefully they can bring in Splitter and find a legit wing stopper. But I wouldn't be surprised if Jefferson, McDyess and possibly even Bogans return, nor would I be surprised if Splitter didn't come over.

Next year could be better, but even if this team fills their needs, can the big three stay healthy? Even if they somehow do, can Duncan and to a lesser extent, Ginobili, approximate their production from this season? The reality is this team is more than likely done as a contender in the Duncan era. This off season is their last chance at changing that.

2-sign a dominant young center.

What a great idea!
