Only a true conservative would want Reagan immortalized by the socialistic, fascistic, federal government.

If you want a bullshit cause regarding portraits on currency, get TJ on something other than the two buck note.

St Ronnie got the Movement Conservative shitball rolling, resulting quite quickly in the S&L disaster.

He also cut taxes on the wealth (himself) while raising Soc Sec (gave his push to keep the Class War shitball rolling)

Just another spend-and-cut-taxes Repug asshole.

He also sanctioned the corporate War on Employees by firing the ATCs.

Middle class real income has barely moved since.

Previous efforts to put Mr Reagan, who died in 2004 aged 93, on the $20 note and the dime coin failed.Third time is....

....also a failure.

Um...and you're suggesting what? The link says it's an artist's impression... and I doubt "Conservatives" would allow such a bad picture of Reagan to be on his "tribute currency."

We should just ask Nicaragua, Grenada, and the other countries he helped cleanse what picture they want to see and on what specific piece of currency. :king

Just like we asked Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas whether or not they wanted to see Grant on a bill? :p:

Just sayin'. I really don't give a rats ass who's on the $50.

Grant on the $50 bill is tradition, we've been doing it since before Reagan made movies. I don't see how we as a country can abandon Grant and the years of tradition, and expect our arguments for "values based on tradition" to hold any water. We need a culture of life on our dollar bills ya'll!

I know. I agree. I think our currency looks just fine the way it is. Besides, even if we were going to bump someone off a bill, it's got to be Hamilton. Don't bump a president when there's a non-president on a bill.

Don't we have something better to do with the people's tax money than change the pics on our bills? Wouldn't this be considered a waste of time and money if it were someone else?

I agree. As much as I like president Reagan, I think this is inappropriate.
