SpursStalker

WOW ...

What is it with you all.

Just because someone is older they can't enjoy being off for a week without someone saying ... "Gee aren't you old"

It's a week where schools are out, since I work in a school, I'm off.

Get it?

:rolleyes

Did the world cancel Spring Break?

If you are over the age of 24 and your definition of spring break still involves hanging out with drunk college kids, then you are a loser.

Taking a normal vacation with family or friends around that time of year and calling it spring break is acceptable, but makes you kind of a nerd. "Vacation" would be more appropriate terminology.

If you work for a school that observes spring break, then use of the term is completely appropriate, provided you're not hanging out with drunk college kids.

I haven't done anything besides that on spring break for years. My vacations usually come during the summer, if I get one.

I guess I'm lucky when it comes to holidays like that ... working in the school system does have it's advantages.
