The Bucks are a top-10 team in the league right now. They're far better than the Hornets.

It was an excellent game. Milwaukee was the better team, they deserved to win.

No surprises here. Milwaukee's been on that shit since the trade deadline, just beating the teams they're supposed to beat.

I've stopped feeling better or depressed due to the outcome of games a few years ago. I enjoy when the Cs win but it's not exactly a priority.

Bucks have been disgusting since the Salmons trade..their D has been elite and Bogut is a top 3 C in the NBA right now..

Chieflion

Bogut has been awesome. Without Dwight, he might be the DPOY. Salmons was the exact guy they need. The Bucks are 5th in the East and are very hot after the ASB. Bucks just kicking the old guys in the balls they are supposed to kick.

mogrovejo

Bogut deserved to make an All-Defense team last season if it wasn't for that back injury.

This season I'm more impressed by his purpose and consistency as a scorer/passer offensively. His improvement as a defender was mostly between 07 and 09.

We should have traded Bynum for Bogut while his stock was hot and Bogut's was not.

Milwaukee is like 10-1 since the Salmons trade. Bogut has been tremendous. What a player.

I think Bogut made a good jump from 07-09. But now that Mbah A Moute is on the Bucks and gradually improving, who is a really good defender as well, Bogut can concentrate more on help defense and anchor the defense easier. And under Scott Skiles' system, you can see the Buckss make that elite jump to an extremely good defensive team. Bogut's offense this season has unquestionably made the jump. He used to be a really bad passer.

I think we were all sipping the Bynum kool-aid and sleeping on Bogut until a little bit ago. Both of them have made it pretty clear who they really are over the past few months.

Don't discount Delfino shutting down Pierce, yet again. The Bucks aren't quite better than the Lakers, but they're a top-10 team in the NBA.

The Bucks are 10-1 in their last eleven games with their only loss being to Atlanta, in OT & in Atlanta. They are for real. Bogut is a borderline all-star center, Mbah a Moute is one of the most underrated defenders in the league, Salmons/ Illyasova/ Delfino are all underrated players, and Ridnour is arguably the most reliable back up PG in the league. Right now I think they stand a good chance of beating either Boston or Atlanta in the first round of the playoffs.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

Including the Bucks becoming an elite team down the road.

I don't see them winning a series in the first round but they will physically beat up and drain whoever they play. If I'm a top four seed in the East, Charlotte and Milwaukee are the two teams I don't want to face.

Damn the eastern conference is so shitty lmao..Props to the Bucks though for playing well..I'm interested to see what kind of noise Boston can make in the playoffs..They are old but still a little banged up..Look out for 2nd round Bos/Cle, good chance it can happen..but Atl aint doing so well either so it'll be between bos/atl for the 4th seed..Orl is playing really well so they'll probably end up 2nd seed.

And my man Bogut ripped the Celtic front line a new arsehole. He really served it up to them:

The Bucks will make the ECFs within 3-4 years, mark my words. Bogut and Jennings are for real, and they have some other nice young pieces like Salmons and Ilyasova. They are a big time wing scorer away from making some waves.

Millwaukee is legit.
Call me weird but I still think Boston has 1 or 2 lives yet as in giving teams a run for their money come playoff time.

Don't totally count them out just yet is what I am saying.

Clearly Bogut has made the jump. If he stays healthy, which he's had problems in the past, he is an All-Star player for years to come in the league.

I mostly agree with you Ruff, but Salmons isn't a young piece. The guy is 30 years old.

The Bucks have a Bogut, Jennings, Ily, LRMAM and Delfino as their core + the Bulls lottery pick this season + a boatload of cap space when Redd + Gadzuric + Salmons expire next season.

Plus, Redd contract is going to be paid by the insurance next season, it's going to be a big trade piece.

bostonguy
03-10-2010, 02:10 PM
Bucks have over 30 million in expirings to dingle next year. This is a damn good young team that will keep on improving.
