1st team all rookie in 2007 then fell off the face of the Earth. Anyone know what he's doing basketball wise these days?

He's playing for Real Madrid, making a lot of money. Won the Eurobasket with the Spanish NT last Summer.

That freakish injury cost him the best years of his career. Very good role-player.

I vaguely remember now that he had an injury kill his NBA career. Such a shame, he looked like he was on his way to a promising NBA career. Thanks for the info.

Navarro is playing for Barcelona, arguably the best team in Europe right now, part of the backcourt with Rubio. They are playing extremely well, in that Navarro can play point at times to take the pressure away from Rubio but is also an excellent shooter that can space out the floor for him as well. Fran Vasquez, the former Orlando pick, is also playing for them, and playing extremely well. He has really benefited a lot from Rubio's creativity.

What hurt Garbajosa was that he tried to come back immediately after the injury in order to play for the NT only to get hurt again. He is doing well at Real though. They have been whooped by Barca a couple of times this year, the last was about two weeks ago in the Spanish Cup final in a game I watchd, but there is no shame being second to those guys.
