Outside science academies to review warming panel (http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5izR7TTBfwQbPZHj5Agc79QswhCgQD9EBE3881)
Shouldn't they have tried this first?

Kind of like closing the barn door after the horses are out, eh? Or, more pointedly, this is trying to establish a credible plan after all credibility has been lost.

I read it as meaning they are trying to reduce the obvious errors, rather than their bullshit.

Recently, several unsettling errors have been found in the climate panel reports issued in 2007.

Though the mistakes don't undercut the broad consensus on global warning, they have shaken the credibility of climate scientists and given skeptics of global warming ammunition.

Recently, several unsettling errors have been found in the "How the World Works" reports issued in 1538.

Though the mistakes don't undercut the broad consensus that the Earth is flat, they have shaken the credibility of astronomers and given skeptics of a flat Earth ammunition.

The original text, I believe.

The original text, I believe.

An erroneous comparison, but humorous for some, I suppose.

Not erroneous much longer.

And thanks, I suppose.
