I am usually a believer in this as he skews toward point differential - bottom line is Spurs over-rated in this and Mavs under-rated but the Mavs while hot are still a team with holes - they still have a soft superstar and an old PG (even though he is playing well - he will be exposed in the playoffs)

Poor Hollinger: When he ranks us low we get mad, when he ranks us high we get madder apparently.

Makes sense they'd be that high since point differential is such a big deal in his system...because the Spurs honestly have hardly been blown out this season. Theyve faltered in late game situations alot, if we wouldve had a legit closer the entire season we'd be sitting with a couple fewer losses and right in the thick of things. Given the fact that when healthy he's one of the game's best closers Manu's play the last month or so provides a glimmer of hope that this team can still make some noise in the playoffs.
