Ok, just a little team comparison, by the stats. Team, then opponent stats. Don't look them up before guessing. It may surprise you.

fg 3o ft or dr rtot ass st blk to pf pts

tea .469 .367 .743 10.9 31.5 42.4 22.1 6.4 4.8 13.6 20.5 100.7
Opp .455 .343 .760 10.0 29.6 39.6 19.2 6.9 5.4 12.6 20.3 96.3

tea .458 .342 .773 11.7 32.7 44.4 21.3 7.8 4.8 13.3 19.5 102.6
Opp .442 .324 .751 11.2 31.4 42.6 21.7 6.9 4.5 14.8 21.3 96.6

What do I take from this? Well, if Parker is able to recover quickly enough, then we look like a decent team. I think our injuries during the season and new players hurt team chemistry. But some of the players have learned their roles. When Manu plays with Blair and RJ, they are good. Hill is great in the starting lineup.

Bogans is slammed alot, but Hairston is not a 3pt shooter, and Bogans is an adequate long-baller on the team, shooting about the same number of 3pt shots as Hill and Bonner, and making a very similar number of shots (54-149 bogans. compare: manu 96-257, bonner 59-145, hill 61-151. )

Spurs are a good 3pt shooting team, and have similar stats to Lakers. They score slightly more.

We shoot our fg at a higher percentage than the lakers, although the fg differential is in their favor (.016%+ diff for lakers, .014%+ spurs)

Perhaps looking at these numbers against winning teams, for both teams, might be telling.

Tony being hurt f-ed everything up, but if he comes back quickly enough to recover during the 1st round, we have a chance to get past some teams.
