Has anyone seen this movie yet? I need some feedback. Was it good?

Was MosDef funny?

Did it only encompass the first book?

I can't wait to see that movie this weekend...
It was like one of the funniest books I've ever read. Zaphod rules!

Sorry, I saw it yesterday and it was horrible. Mos Def was funny, but the movie really sucked. The idea was good, but it was just tough to sit through in my opinion.

No, to be honest with you, I did not even know it was based on a book. Maybe the book was good, but the movie, well, it just wasn't my style.

well yeah man i hate to say stuff like this but in this case i think it may be true...

because i can already tell you if i never read the book and saw the movie i would think the movie blew....in this case its not about better understanding the movie

i think its just cuz you have to read Douglas Adams..he's a funny ass guy

his writing style is so....out there

i still think u should give the book a shot. It's really short. You could read it in like one day. You'll enjoy it, trust me.

Cool, I will have to check that out then.

The movie was 'out there' ; just not what I expected.

I have never read the book- but I am familiar with its basic premise.

With that said, I thought the movie was hilarious.

Mos Def was good, but Alan Rickman stole the show as Marvin.

not at all what i had in my head while reading the book but after i saw and heard lil marvin on the movie website, i knew i had to see this movie for that alone

he's one of the coolest characters ever (besides ZAPHOD)

If you like "Monty Python", you'll most probably like "Hitchhiker's Guide".

If you don't...you probably won't.

I saw it Friday night.

I liked it a lot.

Marvin was hilarious.....the humor was British and I love British humor.

I say go see it.

I'm in the process of rereading the book before I go see it. I completely forgot about all the sublime humor (or I guess humour :) ) in the writing.

"OK, so ten out of ten for style, but minus several million for good thinking, yeah"

I saw it this weekend.

It was really really good...best movie i've seen at the theatre all year.

My favorite part is when they start the improbability drive and then they all turn into little dolls made of yarn...i swear it was the funniest and scariest thing ive seen in a long time

this movie was a trip! i can't wait to see it again
