Tampa Bay Rays relocating?

http://mlb.sportsnewsandscores.com/baseball/cloudy-skies-is-tampa-bay-losing-the-rays.html

Several years ago, Major League Baseball had a study of possible cities they would place a team if needed. Washington, D.C. was on top of there list followed by San Antonio, TX. and Vancouver, B.C. Canada...

D.C. has since landed the Washington Nationals team via relocation of the Monreal Expos, The Florida Marlins flirted with the City of San Antonio for possible relocation. But that never happened...

Now there is talk of the Tampa Bay Rays moving to possibly New Jersey or Connecticut. So why not San Antonio? Why not go after another pro team that wont compete with the SPURS? Baseball is played in the summer, and we have great baseball weather, forget the NFL.

Baseball Commissioner has called for a new stadium...

I'm all for building a stadium with or without tax money.
How about the San Antonio Marshalls, Santos, Gunslingers, Sluggers...

that they wouldn't compete with the spurs is a fallacy.
