You probably think I'm crazy but just think back two or three weeks ago. The Spurs played until the early morning, going double OT on the strength of Ginobili's 40 points. They played without Tim Duncan and grabbed victory in LA with an iron will like a wounded animal.

The Spurs had to journey up the coast to Oakland and go at it again with a Golden State team that had won 8 straight. The Spurs set an NBA record by scoring their second 2OT game victory on consecutive nights. This time, Ginobili was held out of the game, so Tony Parker stepped up big-time and went for 35 points, including the game-winner with 2 seconds remaining to seal the 136-134 victory.

That, my friends, is why the San Antonio Spurs won this game tonight, against a gritty Nuggets team and playing through lots of roadblocks.

TP, Manu, and the rest of the Spurs crew are battle tested and ready to FINISH THE DEAL when the contenders and pretenders lose their way or their will.

Move the game up to Tuesday? Why not? As they say...only the strong survive. Let the truth be told!

If we played tomorrow there would be mass suicide in denver after the game, I don't think they could take the back to back beating, too much trauma for two days.

What? No more pics, D? That's some funny shit. And I'm with you on playing tomorrow. I have tomorrow off, but I have to work Wednesday evening. If you can draw up the petition to take to the NBA to play a day early I'll be the first to sign it.

:lol

I don't think *I* can take another night of 5 hours of sleep!

Hey, we saw my sister-in-law on TNT last night. She and her husband were at the game. It was near the end of overtime, with 1:30 or so on the clock during Boykins's FT. She looked completely depressed. My husband called her phone to tell her we'd seen her and I said, "Don't taunt her, honey, it would be mean!" Anyway, how often does that happen? :)
