I sense an Austin_Toros sighting in this thread's future.

Hmmm I wonder why he would come back after playing so well in china? Maybe we can bring him back next season, I think he could be a pretty good role player.

Well the Toros actually emailed me this information stating this so I don't have a link. I googled and found it also posted on http://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3978605

they also mention here http://www.ridiculousupside.com/2010/3/21/1383246/last-night-in-the-d-league-darnell that he was with the team for the last game but hadn't suited up.

If the pro basketball scene in China is anything like in the Philippines, he was probably signed as an 'import' player for one conference or one season.

Unlike in Europe, long-term contracts for foreign-born players aren't that common in Asia.

Yeah, he was listed on the roster on the Toros website briefly this weekend but then taken down. If Gee also comes back the Toros will be as good as any team in the D-League.

I'm wondering if he will get another chance to make the Spurs this Summer, or if he is strictly D-league material. Always liked his size and skill set.

Wonder if Buford still sees Williams as the second coming of Magic Johnson.

Yes, if given enough Avery chances.
