30Gb iPod. It's currently in its death throes, though - it only puts out sound when kept in the freezer.

I don't have much music, cause I'll just listen to Pandora on my phone.

I got an iphone with the intention of putting my music on it, but almost a year later I don't have any because I've been using the hell out of Pandora and the FM radio apps.

Just picked up one of these from some guy in a white van. He said it was the latest technology.

I can't figure out how to put my songs on it.

I had a used 40 gig 3g iPod. My brother lost it. I had a couple of no-name players that broke. I had a Zen 16 gig, gave it to my sister. Now I use my Sansa Clip + exclusively. I use it for working out, walking between classes, and long flights.

I've only used apple products, touch, nano, shuffle.

I've never even used/listened to any other type of mp3 player.

95% of music on it is country.

Wow that's terrible...so only 5% of your music is actually good.

Anyway, I had an Ipod 60 GB that died when it got wet last year. When I got the Pre, I put music on there. I miss having all my music on the ipod and haven't had the money to buy a new one. I mostly use the Pre for the gym and school, so it's not that big of a deal to not have an ipod.

30 GB iPod Classic. Fifth generation, I think? From before the iPhone/Touch came out, in any case.

It still works great, but is absolutely bursting at the seams. If I want to add another album to it in the future, I'm going to have to start removing album art.

I want an Ipod Classic so bad but just don't want to hastle with fucking iTunes and their weird format crap

I was determined to not use iTunes when I got my iPod, but after trying a few alternatives (don't even remember what anymore) and not liking them I gave in. Now I can't imagine using anything but iTunes to organize my music.

To have everything organized just exactly the way you want it requires tweaking the way things are titled or the way artists are named at the time you enter each album, which can be time consuming when you're first importing your music collection, but really isn't that difficult. No more so than with any other program, really, but that just may be because I'm completely OCD and have to have everything organized just so. Point being, however, that their weird format crap can be easily worked around.

And, in the case you're referring to the file format and not the organizing/interface format, that can be worked around, too. You can have iTunes as your music library without downloading from iTunes -- I've only got a couple of albums that have their DRM, for instance. Additionally, even though I think it's a silly waste of time, I've got a friend who has gotten rid of any DRM issues by burning whatever music he bought from iTunes onto a CD, deleting it completely from his computer and his music library, then importing the burned CD back into iTunes. It resets the files and loads without DRM.
