According to KRGV in Rio Grand Valley, Texas, Garrett Temple has told the news outlet the Spurs have signed him to a contract for the remainder of the season.

With Tony Parker still out -- though hopeful to be back by the last week of the season -- Temple has the ability to backup George Hill at the point, adding some depth at the position heading into the postseason.

Temple's offensive skills lack at times, but his large wingspan make him a solid defender.

Got it from espn insider.

Wonderful. Just what the spurs' needed, another 6'5" shooting guard. I wonder what poor Malik Hairston must be thinking this time... "WTF do I got to do to nail down a position? This year Pops replaces me with this journeyman scrub ass named Bogans and next year my minutes will go to some rook named Garrett."

Well, I guess the bench needs warming for when Bogans takes a break.
