I know there are a million Manu contract speculation threads, but I just read this on SI:
Real Madrid is (supposedly) to offer Manu $13.5 Mil per year. Here's the link:

If true, would the Spurs put up that type of money?? And is that just an initial offer? Could Madrid go higher into the $14 Mil + range? If so, what does Manu do? What do the Spurs do?
This would be the worst possibility, because not only do we lose Manu, but we couldn't even negotiate a sign and trade and get something out of the deal.
