Haven't seen it but I did hear it was "Hangover" lite. But a couple of notches below.

In honor of its DVD release today, figured I'd go 'head and bump.

HILARIOUS fucking movie. I had no idea Rob Corrdry was that damn funny. One of the reviews on the DVD says that it's "Funnier than The Hangover"...and I can't argue.

Its pretty funny. Its defiantly a movie made strictly to be a comedy

The previews looked so bad for this movie, but it ended up being the funniest thing I saw all year. Dude chewing out his 9 year-old girlfriend about being a cheating bitch was classic.

LOL, ya the part with the yelling at the little wife was nice..

It was funnier than I expected, the concept was good..

The previews looked so bad for this movie,...

I know...which is why I held off on it in the theaters. I can only assume that the quality jokes were far too risque for "General Audience" previews.

I like how they did that though, they didn't show any of the good parts in the trailers..

The concept appealed to me, and I also liked the big man's work in Zach and Miri..

Guess you can't show a dude trying to commit suicide on the previews. :lol

Zach and Miri was horrible. It was Tropic Thunder level bad.

I thought it was funny..the story was kind of stupid and the movie in general, but it got laughs from me..

I liked Tropic Thunder..I thought it was overrated and not as funny as people made it out to be, but I enjoyed it..it would have been a lot better without Jack Black though..

Or a gentleman asking for an escort to "escort his and his friends' penises into her vagina."

imo Zach and Miri was like every other Kevin Smith movie - dumb story, funny dialogue that still tries to be wittier than it actually is, some pretty hilarious moments, and then a sappy gag-inducing "feel good" ending.

I don't care what you say, Zack and Miri was the funniest of any Seth Rogen movies. I lol'd so hard when I saw it. Saw it again a couple days ago for the first time in forever and proceeded to laugh my ass off again. The whole scene with Justin Long is hilarious.

I didn't think The Hangover was THAT funny. It was funny, but the funniest part for me was the end when they went through the pictures.

It wasn't THAT funny. The only part I laughed out loud to was "They gave out rings at the Holocaust?" Didn't even come close to Ron Burgundy funny.

From the raving reviews that I heard about it, I expected it to be much funnier than it actually was.

Same goes for Pineapple Express.

I think you guys were either expecting way too much out of these movies, or you're just not a stoner, which in itself makes PE like 100x funnier.

I was amused at parts Hot Tub Time Machine. I'm a fan of the no-brainer comedies since Hamburger the Motion Picture. The pitcher of beer I shared with my sister during Pineapple Express made that movie so much funnier. I highly recommend this!

I don't get it. I was bored watching HTTM. I thought Role Models was even funnier than this.

Waiting to see what happened to Crispin Glover's arm made me chuckle a bit though.

20 minutes in and still waiting for a chuckle. Looks cheesy so far. I guess every funny movie from here on out will have an air drumming segment. They better use the opening of maiden's Where Eagles Dare before I approve of it.

Seems like someone always wants to shit on something no matter what. HTTM was funny, was it the funniest movie ever, no, but it was funny.

Yeah the first twenty minutes aren't that funny, but there are some funny parts like when the kid says "The taxidermist is stuffing my mom" or when the bald guy says "yeah you have a lot of boyfriends, gay ones" or when he talks about shoving a pill up his ass, or when he says that the escort can escort his penis into her vagina, or when he tosses the imaginary drum stick in the air and catches it, or when they talk shit about him while he's lying there in the hospital bed.

Here's the thing though, the premise of the movie has to be setup, how the one guy has a dead end job and isn't living his dream, the other had his wife/girlfriend leave him, and the other tries to kill himself, and it isn't necessarily hilarious, but you have to setup the premise for the movie. Most movies aren't that good in the first twenty minutes, regardless of the genre.

Sup dawg?
