lol. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I suppose. All I'm saying is I like the articles. I like Jeff's and Buck's style. I don't really dig Mike Monroe too much, though.

And no, this isn't Jeff McDonald. I'm an '09 journalism graduate from a California State University hoping to make it into the biz one day. Weeeeee. lol.

Yes, a screen shot or any other representation of the article which quotes more than the allowable portion of the original article is a violation of copyright and fair use.

This does not constitute legal advice.

I am doing quite well without the local rag. They really don't provide anything that is fresh or new and their opinions have very little substance. It is quite a battle as to who is worse. The rag or the local radio at 5.

E-N articles have been posted since the beginning of SpursTalk's existence (seven years now). To blame duncan228 is laughable. She only picked up a practice that was already in place. It used to be me or Kori who would post the articles so duncan228 taking the baton saved us countless hours over the years.

I've given duncan228 permission to keep posting non-Express-News articles as usual. We are working on a solution but in the meantime we'll keep it status quo.

While what duncan228 posted is true, there's no denying that it was known that such a practice saps away hits and potentially $$$ from those websites. That poster that always posts articles from 48MoH is pretty good about that and always makes it a point to use an excerpt no matter what and there's never been any bitching about just clicking a link.

Then again this is a bad ass forum where you can get ESPN insider content for free so its all good :)

I used to like them too, but i have no reason to buy their rag or go to their website very often. I really don't think I've read an article since they put out the riot act
